This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how they are used on Camber Foundation and its GCF Global program’s (“GCF”, “we”, “us”, “our”) website, edu.GCFGlobal.org (the “Website”). GCF is the controller for the use of cookies on the Website as well as for processing of your personal data that is collected through cookies when you visit the Website. This Cookie Policy supplements GCF's Privacy Policy.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

We use cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies. Cookies are small pieces of text sent by your browser to your device. Cookies can be persistent (cookies that remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them) or session (cookies that are deleted as soon as you close your browser). First party cookies are cookies set by the website you are visiting, while third party cookies are placed by domains that are not the website you are visiting.

Analytics cookies allow us to recognize and count the number of users to the website, see how users interact with the website and different functions, and when users are using the website. Analytics cookies show us which are the most frequently viewed pages on the website, help us record any difficulties you have with the website. Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information on your use of the Website to improve our Website. In order to collect this information, Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser, or read cookies that are already there. Google Analytics may also receive information about you from applications you have downloaded that partner with Google. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Websites or to another application which partners with Google is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy available here. Google AdSense. We use Google AdSense to deliver advertisements to you on our Website from across the internet and within the Google advertising network based on their visits to our Website. Google AdSense stores a conversion tracking cookie on your device when you click on an advertisement. The information obtained through the cookie is used to generate statistics and allows us to see the total number of users who clicked on the advertisements. MailerLite. We use Mailerlite for sending email marketing campaigns to users of our Website. Mailerlite will generate pop-up forms on our Website that allow users that input their email address to subscribe to a course and receive the course’s lessons in recurrent emails. MailerLite stores a marketing cookie to determine if a user has seen the pop-up form, and when to show the pop-up form again regarding the user’s behavior settings. UserVoice. We use UserVoice on our Website to allow us to implement a user support tool where users can request support, and we can respond to and manage those requests. For more information, please review UserVoice’s privacy policy available here.

Microsoft Azure. We use Microsoft Azure’s cloud computing platform as the primary hosting platform for the Website’s applications and database. Azure provides the Website with a wide range of cloud services including infrastructure, analytics, storage and networking. In general, to disable cookies and limit the collection and use of information through them, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. When you opt-out an opt-out cookie will be placed on your device. The opt-out cookie is browser and device specific and will only last until cookies are cleared from your browser or device. DISCLOSURE AND DATA TRANSFERS OUTSIDE OF THE EEA

Your personal data collected through third party cookies will be disclosed to and processed by our advertising partners, third-party data providers, analytics partner, and social media platforms.

The personal information collected by GCF will be transferred to countries or jurisdictions outside of the European Union or country of your residence, including to the United States of America, Brazil, and Colombia. The countries to which the personal information is transferred may not be as comprehensive as those in your country of residence.
